West Rockhill Elemetary School, completed in September 1990, is located in West Rockhill Township, Sellersville, Pennsylvania.  Situated on twenty-one acres of land in Upper Bucks County, it is the seventh and newest elementary school in the Pennridge School District and is home to our mascot, "Marvelous Mountain Lion."

The six distinctive roof lines of West Rockhill Elementary School are easily spotted from the main street of Washington Avenue. Each roof line houses one of the school's grade levels, in addition to individual Common Areas, capable of providing additional teaching and learning space for our students. West Rockhill Elementary School provides educational services to 475 students grades Kindergarten to Six, (three classes of each grade), one Life Skills class, and one Autistic Support class. Student instructional programming is supported and complimented by specialists in the areas of Music, Art, Library/Information Services, and Physical Education, four Learning Support teachers, one Gifted Support teacher, Technology, Title 1, and English as a second language services, an Instructional Support Team, as well as Speech/Language/Hearing Support, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Chorus, and Instrumental Music instruction.

The West Rockhill instructional program is further enhanced by many community-based activities emphasizing positive actions through Field Trips, Spirit Activities, Family Fun Nights, and educational Assemblies to name a few.

School begins (1st - 6th grades) at 8:50 a.m.

The Pennridge School District is currently in the process of planning Kindergarten registration for the upcoming 2008-2009 school year. Information packets are scheduled to be mailed mid February to each district resident with a child who will reach the age of five on or before August 31, 2008.(Potential student names are taken from the district's census database.) If you or someone you now has a child meeting this age requirement, and has not received a packet by February 22, 2008, please call the District Office to obtain one. All registration will be done by appointment only. Registration will be conducted at the new District Education Center located at 1200 North Fifth Street in Perkasie during selected dates between March 3, 2008 and April 4, 2008. Two appointments will be scheduled every 15 minutes during the hours of 8:30 am to 11:45 am and again from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm. You will be given the next available appointment when you call and your packet will include all the necessary forms and instructions.
